Off grid cabin

I thought I would share my progress on constructing an off grid cabin as a way of recording it for myself and to share with anyone else doing a similar project.

I'm setting up a cabin on the south coast of Australia as somewhere to stay when we visit the beach.

The site is in bush land adjacent to the national park and close to the beach.  There are some challenges - there is no power, water or sewerage and council zoning does not allow for a permanent residential dwelling to be built. In addition to this there is an existing carport, caravan and rusted water tanks to be removed.
